So, you have heard of Affirmations, right? If not, or you are not quite certain why I would be taking the time to mention them is, they are the words and statements that you construct within yourself, that you believe, or tell yourself to believe. Thats why it is really important that the statements you do tell yourself are suitable and appropriate and most importantly kind for you.
Ever heard yourself saying to yourself, Im not good enough, or I cant? Good things don’t happen to me, I never win, I always loose, Why does this keep happening to me?…
So then if thats your soundtrack to your life and existence, where could it be limiting you and bringing you down, holding you back?
Ask yourself the questions, why are you not good enough? Why cant I? Why dont good things happen to me?
What if you are good enough? What if you can? What would it be like if good things did happen to me?…because of me!…
Ever sat listening to the radio and been all upbeat and cheery, then suddenly our feelings thoughts and processes change and we discover also did the song… The words we digest and that vibration they hold has more influence over us than we give credit to.
So I challenge you!
You Can!
You are good enough!
To change this pattern and recognise how this can truly benefit you…
Sound a bit cliche? A little change cant possible cause a big effect? Can it?.. The answer is YES …It can and it does…
Listen to and for yourself, turn up your inner volume and if you need to change that soundtrack or station that isn’t very beneficial or co operative…

When you build your own affirmation there are 4 key steps to success
- Make it believable and within your control
- It must be in the present tense (happening now )
- It must be POSITIVE (no ‘NOT’ or ‘Don’t’ )
- YOU must FEEL it
- Use your own name for added power!!
- Repeat it regularly 3-5 times a day
- make it your new habit by doing this for 21 to 30 days…

Choose one for now that fits within you and is manageable, then practice changing how you feel by saying the statement in the mirror 3 times a day. More if you can! Consider jotting the phrase down somewhere you can see it, on your computer, on the mirror, on your diary or desk…hey maybe even on the dash board or tv… wherever it may be, allow it to allow you to change and move forward positively!!
